Denton welcomes entrepreneurs with new ideas and supports existing businesses with plans to grow. We appreciate the contributions startups and business expansions make to our economy and offer a variety of resources to support them.

Small Business Development Center

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a partnership program with the U.S. Small Business Administration and North Central Texas College.  The SBDC offers free and confidential counseling to new and existing small businesses.  Our advisor can assist clients with:

• Business plans and cash flow projections
• Government Contracting
• Financing for a startup or business expansion
• Obtaining licensing and permits
• Locating the necessary suppliers
• Hiring and managing employees
• Researching suppliers and customer leads from a  databank of 16,000,000+ businesses.
