Jessica Rogers
Director of Economic Development | City of Denton
Jessica Rogers was appointed Director of Economic Development for the City of Denton in April 2019. Prior to her current role, Jessica served as the Deputy Director of Public Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations where she focused on state and federal advocacy and community outreach and engagement projects. Jessica has previously held roles in finance, budget, utilities, and economic development.

Charlie Dromgoole
Interim Vice President
Charlie graduated from Texas A & M University in 1973. He started his Chamber and economic development career in Jasper, Texas in 1974 and has served in Chambers and Economic Development organizations in numerous cities in Texas as well as in Jackson, TN. Charlie has also served as Interim President at the Chambers of Commerce in Schertz, TX and Plano, TX and served as the President/CEO of the Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce in Humble, TX for 5 years. He served as the SVP of Economic Development from January 1, 2016 until his retirement on April 30, 2017. Since retirement he has served as Interim President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, Interim President of the Parker County EDC, and Interim CEO of the Development Corporation of Abilene. He currently serves part-time as Economic Development Advisor for Sabine County and Adjunct Program Specialist in Economic Development for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX). Charlie is a co-founder of Solutions Consulting, a firm that provides strategic planning and organizational development services to chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, associations, and governmental entities. He has conducted over 75 planning retreats for chambers, associations, and economic development organizations. In 2016 Charlie published his book "Chamber Stories That I Can Tell (and some that I probably shouldn’t!)." Awards and Recognition: Certified Chamber Executive designation - American Chamber of Commerce Executives Association, 1993. Outstanding Chamber Executive - Texas Association of Business & Chambers of Commerce, 1997. STAR Award from the Texas Department of MHMR, 2002.

Michelle Cunningham
Michelle Cunningham, CEcD, EDFP
Business Development Officer | City of Denton
Michelle Cunningham joined the City of Denton Economic Development Department in November 1998 and is responsible for Denton’s business retention, expansion and workforce development efforts, and the City’s education and international partnerships. Her prior industry experience includes strategic planning for Northrop Grumman and Yellow Freight Systems, new markets development for Marion Merrell Dow, national account management for AT&T and Canadian government and commercial sales for Beech Aircraft. Michelle is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), member of the International Economic Development Council and has served on the Texas Economic Development Council Education Committee. She became a certified Economic Development Financial Professional (EDFP) through the National Development Council in 2015 and has served on a number of Denton non-profit boards supporting community quality of life and business development. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Kansas State University with majors in business management and labor relations.

Economic Development Analyst | City of Denton
Erica Sullivan joined the City of Denton’s Economic Development Department in 2008. Prior to her current position, she worked for the Heart of Texas Council of Governments for six years and most recently served as Director of Regional Services for the organization. Erica has over 15 years experience in government and 10 years in the Economic Development field. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Science from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute and the City of Denton's Leadership Certification Program. She is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) and has served on two of the association's committees. She was a speaker at the Technology Basics for Small Business Training in Denton, Texas in July 2009 and the Texas Environmental Trade Fair in Austin, Texas in May 2007.

Christina Davis
Economic Development Specialist | City of Denton
Christina Davis, Economic Development Marketing Specialist, joined the City of Denton Economic Development in September of 2006. Prior to working for the City of Denton, Christina worked eight years for the City of Modesto, CA, in the Business Development Division of Community & Economic Development, and the Modesto Redevelopment Agency. During her time in Modesto she was responsible for marketing Modesto, branding the Redevelopment Agency, and served as interim Business Analyst. Currently, Christina is the creative talent and editor for several economic development publications and coordinator for retail marketing programs for the City. Ms. Davis holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Valley Commercial College and is a certified Paralegal.
